It is my understanding that OBX Speedway has been purchased by Jim Teachman.

Its good that a true racer has bought it... and hopefully will take full advantage of the nice facility there... That's what that place needs is someone like him to run it... And trust me I'm pretty sure Teach is a firm believer of good payouts...

This is a roomer, Mr. Teachman has not had anything set in stone yet, no money has exchanged hands and it would be leased and not purchased, I'm not saying that it isn't gona happen but it hasn't yet. Thanks ,just trying to clear the roomer up.

if someone does take it over, i hope they will limit the return road to race cars only. it makes no sense to get stuck behind spectators auto's when we are trying to get a hot car back to our pit spot. the pits is no place for spectators auto's. there is an accident waiting to happen there. i would also like to see the roll-out to be somewhere in the same range as other tracks. the reason for the increase in roll-out is to make the 60 foot look better. coastal plains is the same way. a top car just changes the delay. a footbrake can't do that. this is an age old trick to make it look like the track works so much better than others. don't get me wrong, outer banks hooks, so why ahve extra roll-out to make it appear its better that it is. just i suggestion:}
