The Shivers family sends our prayers to Leroy and the Vanhorn family. I know I have missed, and will continue to miss, Elaine smacking me on the back of the head for motivation before each run. The Northeast racing family remains strong and your memory will not be forgotten. Elaine added to our fond memories at the track. Thanks for the laughs and friendship. Till we meet again.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Elaine Vanhorn next Saturday 29th at the VFW in Elizabeth City from 2-5pm. The address is 1433 North Road Street on 17 South. A side dish is welcome but not mandatory, your presence is all he would like to see.
