Well, we are getting ready to kick off the 2011 season this Saturday and I feel bad that I have not made a post in so long. One of my intents for this forum was to have a weekly or at least bi-weekly devotional. I'll try to do better from now on.
Lets start this year focusing on Sportsmanship-"The character, practice, or skill of a sportsman. Sportsmanlike conduct, as fairness, courtesy, being a cheerful loser,etc.
God tells us in Pilippians 2:3 "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves."
Don't get me wrong, we all race to win! But how we act ,if we win or lose ,tells alot about our hearts.

Wow well said and a good post Greg. I think that is the most important part about racing and the family at northeast dragway. Even though we compete against each other each week we are still all family in the lords eyes. We look forward to seeing everyone in a few weeks.
