I'm sorry I am so late getting the thought out for this week, with the untimely death of Richie my thoughts could not stay focused on a topic. Its hard to be positive during times of death. But then it dawned on me that death can be good. It is because of the death of Jesus that we have the hope of eternal life!
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16
And it is through Him that we receive comfort during these troubling times.
"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows."
