On May 1st, 2015 my brother Josh and wife Laura Vanderslice took their 2 year old son, Louis, to CHKD because they noticed he had been bruising and maintained a low grade fever for a couple of days. Once they got to the hospital they ran a lot of blood work on little Louie. The results that came back were very shocking and devastating to our whole entire family. Louis was diagnosed with Leukemia and rushed to ICU where they started first round of chemotherapy and other tests and procedures.. We have not found out the severity or stage of this horrible disease but know that Josh, Laura, and Louis need all of our support and help now. I am Josh and Laura's brother and have setup this account to help them financially with all of the upcoming expenses that they will endure during this difficult time. Their main focus needs to be on little Louie and his health so any amount donated will greatly be appreciated.
