Thank you to all who participated in the 2018 Street Class. We had several good turnouts and there were many new people who came out to compete in the class. This class provides an open door for new drivers but also gives experienced racers additional opportunities. This class is flexible, with no speed minimum, and it’s economical. I would like to thank everyone who joined the Street Class Points program this year. Keeping the class each year is determined by how many drivers join points on opening day. The following drivers were instrumental in helping the Street Class be a reality in 2018. • Ryland Poyner • Megan Poyner • Tom Worthington • Randy Trahan • Terri Trahan • Kevin Gainer • Hunter Mason Congratulations to Father/Daughter team of Megan Poyner and Ryland Poyner on winning the Championship two years in a row. They did a great job this year. I also want to thank the drivers who came out and supported the Street Class but were not able to join points. Our good turnouts were due to their participation, and this has helped the class immensely. In addition, there were several new people to the class (with varying levels of experience) who made it to various Street Class finals and received trophies this year. The 2018 year was challenging, but the Street Class kept a positive attitude through it all. We had lots of rain and there was a system issue. Thank you to the track owners and crew who worked very hard on this issue. This past Saturday, the light was perfect all day. Looking forward to 2019 and thanks again to all who supported the Street Class. Everyone involved played an important role in the success of the class during the 2018 season. Sincerely, Bubble Gum
