Am I just mistaken, or wasn't there a bracket points race listed on the schedule sometime in September... that is no longer there? I keep losing short term memory, and something else that I can't remember. Take care. Tom Worthington

Yes, you are very observant. That weekend will be Summit Series. Even though the track is not involved in that, there are some racers in Northeast point's that would take advantage of that instead of coming to the track for Northeast's points. So it was decided to not have a point's race that Saturday. The track is still working on getting in 8 point's races this year.

I haven't received word on that, but I don't think it will be a makeup points race.

It seems most people get their info on the Northeast Facebook page now, and don't talk up here on the forum like they use to. Information has changed with the times and people talk on Facebook. I'm just rolling with the changes. It doesn't look like there will be a points race in September.

I haven't seen much discussion about bracket race points races on Facebook, either. The schedule still shows the next bracket points race to be on the last weekend of October. If that stands, I am guessing that we'll be going with 6 points races for the 2017 season. Take care. Tom Worthington
