Thanks for input.
I will need to get some sponsors together and harden up the rules.
Then I can get with Curtis and Tony to set a date.
I'd like to do a small series, if y'all would be interested in something like.

Here they are.

heads up rules
1. no chassis cars
2. single power adder
3. No wheelie bars.
4. Max tire height 29", slick or radial. Slicks max width true 10.5, no W's
5. Last man standing format, there will be a second chance race. Details to follow.
6. Free race entry with $20 test tune tech sheet.
7. Time will be shown
8. $500 to win, more if someone would like to be a sponsor?

I have twin turbos and nitrous hooked up. Will removing the bottle satisfy the rule?

Mornin,
I'll answer the forum questions as well as the email/text ones I've received.
Dates: working on that now. But soon.

Sponsors: I'm meeting with a few potential sponsors next week. If any you would like to be a sponsor or know someone who might be interested send them my way.

Single power: if your car has turbo or supercharger and nitrous. What the tech guy will be looking for is that the bottle is removed from the car and the feed lines are removed from the solenoids. They can remain on the car, just take them loose from the solenoids.

Define single power adder: just like it says a car with one "type" of power adder system. Be it turbo, supercharger or nitrous. You can run 2 turbos as long as turbos are all you have. you can run multiple stages of nitrous as long as nitrous is all you have.

Filling bottles: Nitrous will be available at the track.

Safety equipment: see the Northeast Dragway main page rules section.

If there are anymore questions let me know, I'll be more than glad to answer them.

8 or more will pay $500
If its under 8 we'll talk about it

If your going to allow ANY power adder, Why not let a "W" run in the class?????? However; based on the rules listed and the payout you can definitely count us out. Well be glad to watch though.... :mrgreen:
